Johansson Confirmed for Iron Man, Too

Source:E! Online

First, we got confirmation that Mickey Rourke is on board to play the Russian villain in Iron Man 2, and now E! Online has confirmed with Scarlett Johansson's representative that the actress has indeed signed to play the role of Russian superspy Natasha Romanoff, who doubles as Black Widow.

"Scarlett is thrilled to be a part of Iron Man," her rep, Marcel Pariseau, tells me.

The Jon Favreau-directed sequel is scheduled for a May 7, 2010 release.

that sucks!

iron man 2 already blows before it even began.
scarlett ruins movies.

i pray to god that she pulls out and gets replaced by eva green.

... but then again, i'll probably still watch this mess. emily blunt would have been awesome though.

I think Emily looked a bit more like Black Widow but I think Scarlett could do just fine in the role. And the fact that she is so easy on the eyes is just gravy.

I hope Ramses II was being sarcastic; I was hoping that Blunt was going play the role as well...but I love to look at Scarlett...Fair trade?

Finally. They sorted everything out with Mickey Rourke and he's on board. Also scarlett Johansenn as Black Widow? Interesting choice. We can finally move onto the film now. Lets hope Marvel doesn't start messing around again.
