The New Up Trailer Debuts!

Disney•Pixar has debuted the new trailer for director Pete Docter's Up which you can watch using the player below or in High Definition QuicktTime here!

Opening in theaters on May 29th, Up is a comedy adventure about 78-year-old balloon salesman Carl Fredricksen, who finally fulfills his lifelong dream of a great adventure when he ties thousands of balloons to his house and flies away to the wilds of South America. But he discovers all too late that his biggest nightmare has stowed away on the trip: an overly optimistic 9-year-old Wilderness Explorer named Russell.

Poncho already said it. I have yet to see a Pixar film I didn't like and I don't see this film as breaking that streak.

Think about that for a second. That's amazing. Pixars batting 1.000. Not one bad film. How phenomenal is that? Toy Story 2 was originally intended to be a straight to DVD feature, and during the process they realized it was too good for that and changed their minds to release it to the theater. They can't make a bad film even when they set their expectations low.

Holy frak, how is it with Pixar that after a 2 minute long trailer and I already feel like I just watched a great movie? Amazing.

You Pixar employees need to stop patting yourself on the back. IMO, the animation in that trailer was the equivalent to what was in Hoodwinked and don’t get me started on the story. A story about a crotchety old man telling kids to stay off their lawn doesn’t sound all that interesting to me.

Sorry I gots to call it the way I see it.
