Mark Wahlberg will star in kidnap thriller Prisoners, written by newcomer Aaron Guzikowski, says Variety.

The story centers on a Boston man who turns vigilante after his daughter and her best friend are kidnapped.

Madhouse Entertainment, which manages Guzikowski, is producing.

Endeavor, which represents Wahlberg and Guzikowski, is seeking to attach a director before taking the package out to studios.

I hope that's a joke. Mark Wahlberg has one face. It's that stupid "I can't believe you just said that" face. I'm bored with you Marky Mark.

Sorry felix. I didn't see that you had that joke first. Oh well, maybe in this version he'll finally make good on his promise to that chicken from SNL and work with it.

It's a remake of TAKEN. Since Hollywood didn't produce the film, Europa financed and shot it, the studio system merely picked it up since they liked it...they've decided to take a script that's been around the block several times, call it original and make it.

retarded. get a fresh idea. wait, that was already suggested by a French person.

I hope Wahlberg uses this line of dialog in his new film.....

Hey, chicken. How's it hangin'? A lot of people wanna eat you, but I just wanna talk to you, okay? We should do a film together, whaddya think? Hey, chicken, I'm not joking around, okay? This is the real thing, I mean this could be huge! All right, well, think about it. Say hi to your mother for me, alright? Now I'm gonna talk to a goat.
