ComingSoon.net has your exclusive first look at a new character one-sheet for Disney•Pixar's Up, coming to theaters on May 29.

The film will be presented at WonderCon in San Francisco on Saturday, February 28th from 3:30 - 4:30pm in the Esplanade of the Moscone Center. Also, the studio will screen the first 45 minutes! The screening will be introduced by director Pete Docter and producer Jonas Rivera on Saturday at 7:30pm at the Metreon Theatre [directly across from the Moscone Center at 101 4th St.]. Seating is limited to the first 250 guests and interested attendees are recommended to arrive at the theater early. No cameras, phones, or recording devices will be allowed at the screening, and all must be checked at the door.

Up is a comedy adventure about 78-year-old balloon salesman Carl Fredricksen, who finally fulfills his lifelong dream of a great adventure when he ties thousands of balloons to his house and flies away to the wilds of South America. But he discovers all too late that his biggest nightmare has stowed away on the trip: an overly optimistic 9-year-old Wilderness Explorer named Russell.

Chessh has it right. It's the end of February and its near-end of May. Couple of months away, really.

It's going to be good, I reckon.

Looks ok. No way it will beat TDK though.

Quit comparing every movie to TDK. It might have broken records and made a lot of money but it wasn't that great of a movie.

I agree, Josh. The first watch in theaters was great, no doubt. But the second time through and thereafter I found myself suppressing the urge to fast-forward to the few good parts the movie has. Yet people are acting like it is the greatest thing since sliced bread. I expect people to be comparing every movie to TDK for a few more years at least.

In any case this looks like a good, light-hearted film to watch, especially if you have kids or babysit.

I agree with Josh. I wish people would stop comparing every damn film to TDK. Newflash: It wasn't the greatest film of all time, not even close.

I'm sure when Pixar first started writing UP, somebody ran into the meeting and said "WAIT! Don't you guys think this movie is a little too much like The Dark Knight? Don't you think somewhere along the line people will compare the two" and they writers all looked at eachother and in unison grunted a "naaaaah"
and look where we are today.
I don't blame anyone for comparing TDK and Up. I mean clearly something's going on here.
