Barrymore Ready for Charlie's Angels 3?

Drew Barrymore told E! Online that she's ready to play Dylan Sanders again in a third installment of the "Charlie's Angels" franchise:

"I'm so into it," Barrymore said while promoting her new star-filled romantic comedy, He's Just Not That Into You. "I'm so into it—Charlie's Angels III!"

"It's percolating up," said Nancy Juvonen, Barrymore's Flower Films producing partner. "It's rising to the surface."

Barrymore added, "They're hard movies to make, but they're fun."

The first two films, directed by McG (Terminator Salvation), co-starred Cameron Diaz and Lucy Liu. They took in over $523 million at the worldwide box office.

The report goes on to say that "ideas are being kicked around, including the possible introduction of a fourth Angel." After having Demi Moore play the villainess in the second film, the third movie is expected to have another guy as the baddie.

I doubt McG will be back to direct this, not after Terminator Salvation makes him the next "big director" like everyone is saying it will. Not that it really matters, I doubt it takes much skill to direct a Charlie's Angels movie.

THEY ARE NOT AS PRETTY AS THE ORIGINAL TV SHOW.

Charlie's Angels should come back but, as a serious action movie. Like they did with the Batman franchise after Schumacher messed up all of Tim Burton's great work and then Nolan had to bring it back to it's glory.

I like Drew Barrymore but, she is not pretty enough. Cameron Diaz is a hot blonde but, she is not on super-model level like the women of the original show. A great replacement for Diaz would be Charlize Theron who is the after-photo of her. Plus, Theron is a more respected actor with an Oscar.

Lucy Lui is the only one of the three who equals the looks of the original cast.

If they take out all the stupid campiness but, keep the huge and great action scenes while making epic. Well, Charlie's Angels is the female version of James Bond so the studio would be stupid not to bring it back. But, bring it back in a different version.

they were pretty good films. A 3rd one could work out good if all the same people come back to make it. As for Bosley, unless they get Bill Murray back they have to find a new one since Bernie Mac died last year.
