A new trailer for Warner Bros. Pictures' Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince has aired in Japan and can now be watched using the player below. The anticipated sixth installment hits conventional and IMAX theaters on July 17.

like the other harry potter pics, this movie seems to go far and beyond what the book intended, i'm gonna see it because i love harry otter, but i'm not looking forward to it

yeah but thats hollywood for you. i think it will be pretty good. david yates seems to get the jist of each book hes done. i really only care about the deathly hallows though.

I agree with you stansmith2k8. Hopefully, when they do DH, they will take the hint that with two movies in hand, you should be able to do the entire movie then some. Maybe this time, they won't f**k up and leave out a major battle scene that they are doing in this movie.

What major battle scene they leaving out of this movie??? Certainly not the end battle? how can you do that? how can they take that out? That's like not putting the frosting on a cake?

Yeah, I read that they completely remove the end battle in the castle.... which disappointed me because I always envisioned what it would look like on screen... the camera weaving between the students, spells flying every which way as sections of the corridor blast apart... hopefully they corrected this error.

I am concerned that the film makers change things for the sake of the audience and time. It looks like they did that with HBP. I just that the one PIVOTAL scene in The Deathly Hallows is the one between Bellatrix and Molly. I won't spoil it, but anyone that has read the book will agree that it has to be translated to the screen AS WRITTEN.

Not only the end battle is removed but also the funeral...months ago they had a private screeening, and someone who viewed the movie wrote a review not giving away spoilers but he completely ripped WB a new @ss,because of the removal of the end battle and funeral.
