New Christmas Carol, Princess and the Frog Art

Walt Disney Pictures has included two new pieces of concept art from Robert Zemeckis' A Christmas Carol and one new photo from Ron Clements and John Musker's The Princess and the Frog in its 2008 annual report, which you can download in full here.

A Christmas Carol, featuring Jim Carrey, Gary Oldman, Colin Firth, Bob Hoskins, Robin Wright Penn, Cary Elwes and Fionnula Flanagan, opens in conventional and IMAX theaters on November 6.

The animated musical The Princess and the Frog, voiced by Anika Noni Rose, John Goodman, Keith David, Jim Cummings and Jenifer Lewis, is scheduled for a Christmas Day release.

The Frog Princess looks soooo beautiful... I really hope the film won't disappoint - neither critically, nor financially! It's the most important film of 2009.

A Christmas Carol is going to be motion capture like Polar Express was. It is also going to be on the IMAX in 3D. This will be one that should not be missed!

I love 2D animation and I am glad that Disney is going back to it. The creators of this movie are the same ones who did The Little Mermaid twenty years ago and that is my favorite film of all the Disney animated movies. They also did Aladdin and Hercules. Both very good so this hopefully will be just as excellent if not better so they make more.

Concerning "Princess and the Frog".... I hate how people are saying that they're glad that Disney is making an animated film featuring a minority now. Hey! What about ALADDIN (Arab), POCAHONTAS (native American) ,MULAN (Chinese), LILO & STICH (Hawaiian)!! Aren't those characters minorities?
