First Look at Transformers' Sideswipe

Back in August of '08, it was reported that the mystery car that was spotted on the Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen set was GM's Corvette Centennial Design Concept. A month later, reports said that the car will be the Autobot Sideswipe, who was a Lamborghini in the original cartoons. Now, a user at TF08.net has posted a photo of Hasbro's figure that gives you a good look at what the robot will look like in Michael Bay's film, opening in conventional and IMAX theaters on June 26.

why does he looks like a decepticons.

i loved transformers only the original series. until they decided to go 3D.
hated with what happened to the characters in Transformers movie 1 and sure goin to hate it in movie 2. After i watched the movie on cable tv only and once.
after seeing this.

Why was it hate to go totally original characters and less on ppl.
Remember tranformers ONLY had 2 main people in it and mostly as side heroes.

Looks freaken sweet should be a good movie. I wonder if Sideswipe and RC got some cheesy love interest or will Bumble Bee be up in her honey lol

Ok, a carbon copy of the cartoon would never work in hollywood, yes. But finding a good medium between pleasing hardcore fans and newbies would be the best choice I think. I mean c'mon, you should pay respect to the property you're using. Megatron...without a friggin cannon? Prime...with a mouth?? And now Sideswipe...GRAY??????????? Dude...he isn't redefining TFs, he's RAPING the whole trailer park, lol.

TF FAN wat you on about optimus did have a mouth although it was quite small and it was hidden when he went into combat mode.

Sheesh i remember and i watched that movie more than a year ago.

Yeah i gotta admit sideswipe does look a bit like a decepticon he could be like a betrayer or something i haven't seen the original cartoons so... my guess is he joins back with the fallen later on in the movie.

But watever this film is gonna rock. Screw all you haters.
