Danny Elfman Scoring Terminator Salvation

MTV reports that Danny Elfman has signed on to compose the score for Terminator Salvation.

"I just started yesterday," Elfman said. He added that the original "Terminator" theme by composer Brad Fiedel was not in use yet. "I think if it comes up and it seems appropriate, we will [use it]. And if it doesn't, we [won't]."

I think without the original theme by BF, it just won't feel... complete. Call me crazy.

Hope Elfman throws it in. Might make up for him taking off for Spider-Man 3 - not that he could've saved that debacle.

Kind of stupid to not use one of the most recognizable themes from a movie ever. I know what it was like sitting at Superman Returns for the first time and hearing the originial music. It gave me goosebumps. To bad the movie made me vomit.

T2 was perfect. New version, but still the old theme.

First no arnold, and now just "maybe" the theme?

WHAT THE HELL?????

I am sooooo glad that i am going to Universal in 3 Weeks. There i get both....

If the film calls it, the theme will be in it. If it doesn't, well...I think Elfman knows "a little bit" about scoring, don't you think...?
