Selene is Back for Third Underworld

ShockTillYouDrop.com got a chance to preview a number of scenes from Underworld: Rise of the Lycans on Wednesday with director Patrick Tatopoulos in attendance. While at the event, the site learned how Selene (as played by Kate Beckinsale) appears in the new film, opening in theaters on January 23. You can find out here!

"Rise of the Lycans" delves into the origins of the centuries-old blood feud between the aristocratic vampires, known as Death Dealers, and the barbaric Lycans (werewolves). A young Lycan, Lucian (Michael Sheen), emerges as a powerful leader who rallies the werewolves to rise up against Viktor (Bill Nighy), the cruel vampire king who has persecuted them for hundreds of years. Lucian is joined by his secret lover, the beautiful vampire Sonja (Rhona Mitra), in his battle to free the Lycans from their brutal enslavement.

Pfft its not even new footage, they are just gonna reuse a few scenes from the first Underworld.

Underworld wasn't anything great anyway but at least you saw how hot Kate Beckinsale was, now that she's gone they should just kill this series off.

this story happens BEFORE SELENE is taken by Viktor so how is she suppose to be in it. othe then towards the very end after he Kills his daughter and hires her father when she is a little girl to build the tomb for The first Lycan....

If you click on the link is says stock footage from Underworld 2003.

Why are people creaming in their pants? All it means is that this movie is going to cover centuries of history in 1 hour and 45 minutes. Not a good thing.
