Universal Pictures has put out the following casting call for writer/director Nancy Meyers' untitled comedy:

WHAT: Seeking young men ages 15 - 17 to audition for film role in Universal comedy

WHO: Casting the role of Edward, an awkward, funny, precocious 17-year-old high school senior. Must be available for work in NYC and L.A. from Feb '09 until mid-June '09. No prior experience or preparation is necessary.

i have worked on a few films such as, National Teassure 2, Bride wars, and Indiana Jones 4. I live in Denver colorado, i am 25 years old and i am willing and able to travel, and or do whatever volunteer work necessary

Do people realize that the producers won't actually look at this website? I find it funny that they are applying for a job through a news site which has very little if any to do with the production companies. Are actors really this misinformed? I won't even waste my time telling you to read the fine print because clearly you skipped over the companies name and address plus the time and location you are supposed to show up.

I'm 15 and in UPPER NJ and live 30 min. by train to NYC. Awkward and not so popular. I WOULD do this but don't want to for a few reasons.
These are all IF I get the part
1) I can't risk missing school for 3 straight months

2) I seriously cannot act. Well, a little but not good.

3) I'd be too starstruck to act. lol

4) I'm really nervous acting infront of people
