Um, no. Wait... The first one was enough. But the Weinsteins are in it for the love of the art, that's a fact. Poor Robert Cummings... what's next? A 2 girls 1 cup prequel?
I've watched every single glorious horror picture and every single bad acted,shot-on-VHS CamCorder from countless countries. I've seen alot. Trust me when I tell you that the original Halloween movies really, kind of suck.
The first two are pretty good, but the franchise really fell into miscarriage harboring toilet quick.
Rob Zombie really did a great job trying to jolt some life back into Michael Myers. It stand out from the remakes of The HIlls Have Eyes and Texas Chainsaw Massacre, wich are films that really spit in the face of the brilliance of the originals.
Remakes of Hellraiser, Nightmare on Elm Street and Friday the 13th are on their way. Our boogeymen are getting makeovers because we have nothing new to offer. I'm not excitied about these remakes but I'll give them a chance. These are characters I still want to see and not in another goofball, seventh sequeal.
