Diaz, Lange and Rock Join Globes Presenters List

Cameron Diaz, Jessica Lange and Chris Rock have been set as presenters at "The 66th Annual Golden Globe Awards" to be telecast live on NBC Sunday, January 11 (8 - 11 p.m. EST) at The Beverly Hilton.

They join previously announced presenters Simon Baker, Drew Barrymore, Glenn Close, Sacha Baron Cohen, Aaron Eckhart, Laurence Fishburne, Ricky Gervais, Jake Gyllenhaal, Salma Hayek, Blake Lively, Jennifer Lopez, Amy Poehler and Seth Rogen.

Steven Spielberg will receive this year's Cecil B. DeMille Award from the Hollywood Foreign Press Association for his "outstanding contribution to the entertainment field."

"The 66th Annual Golden Globe Awards" will be seen in more than 160 countries worldwide and is one of the few awards ceremonies that span both television and motion picture achievements.

"The 66th Annual Golden Globe Awards" will take place Sunday, January 11, 2009 at The Beverly Hilton with a live telecast airing on NBC at 8 p.m. (EST) and produced by Dick Clark Productions in association with the Hollywood Foreign Press Association. Jorge Camara is President of the Hollywood Foreign Press Association. Orly Adelson, president of dcp and Barry Adelman will executive produce. Chris Donovan is the director and dcp's Bob Bardo is the executive in charge of production.

Big F'n whoop!!!! Golden Globes always suck...almost 90% of the movies that were nominated didnt have their theatrical release when the nominations were announced.

I just want to know who cares about the presenters? Does anyone else give less than a crap about this stuff?

Hmm. I know I don't give a crap, but do I actually give less than a crap? If I give nothing at all then it's less than crap in terms of quantity. But quality? I'd much rather be given nothing than crap. Hmm.

I give a crap, I give lots of craps. I'm a sucker for red carpets. I love Jessical Lange, and she usually looks fabulous. She's probably out douche cameron diaz as she is a twat

Uh to the poster who mentioned that 90% of the films that are nominated are not yet released in theatres...he/she clearly must not be aware that screeners of all(most)movies that are in contention have dvds sent out to voting members by the sttudios hoping to get the films nominated. So why would they have to be released in theatres?

So that attack against the Globes is completely USELESS.
