Voices for Zack Snyder's Guardians

The Daily Telegraph is reporting that Hugh Jackman (upcoming Wolverine), Hugo Weaving ("The Matrix" and "Lord of the Rings" films) and Ryan Kwanten (HBO's "True Blood") will provide their voices for director Zack Snyder's Guardians of Ga'Hoole.

The Warner Bros. project is an animated feature film based on the series of children's books by Kathryn Lasky. The film is set in the Forest of Tyto, where Barn Owls live in peace until their kingdom is threatened by an evil that could destroy their home.

From Sydney-based production firm Animal Logic (Happy Feet), the film is scheduled to hit theaters on July 30, 2010.

premise sounds horrible, taking named voice actors is questionable.
but its snyder so that's predictable and guaranteed.

ugh have you seen Kung Fu Panda, Toy Story or most of pixar or dreamworks animated films? They all have named voiced actors and have been successes.

This has to be the weirdest project coming around the corner. Not saying that it's bad, just a very bizarre follow-up for Zach Snyder.

Glad to see Snyder can do more than just movies with alot of men in tight clothing or no clothing at all. Lets hope Jackman is shirtless while doing his lines!
