Myriad Pictures (Jeepers Creepers II) is reteaming with comic book publisher Studio 407 to bring the horror series "The Night Projectionist" to the big screen, reports Variety.

"Projectionist" marks the second title produced under Studio 407's first-look deal with Myriad -- the first being the comic book "Hybrid," which is tentatively scheduled to begin production later this year.

The story takes place on Halloween Eve in a small-town movie theater, where an all-night Draculathon draws throngs of moviegoers who suddenly find themselves locked inside the theater, which is slowly filling with vampires.

The first issue of "The Night Projectionist" miniseries will hit stores in February.

Meh! What's the projected rating? "R" and I'm there. "PG-13" and I'll rather go see "Prom Night"

That's their great idea? A movie theater filled with vampires that's showing a movie filled with vampires? Jesus, come on people they're playing on your stupidity. Don't give them your money, huh?

Oh yeah, and it's on Halloween night. Real original guys. Does the sequel take place on Friday the 13th?

glad i'm not a projectionist anymore - working in a dark booth with too many potential hiding places is creepy enough without extra inspiration.
