Aaron Eckhart should get a nomination himself. I know everyone always swoons over Heath Ledger's Joker, but I thought that Eckhart's performance as Harvey Dent was brilliantly acted and just as good as Ledger's. He used very powerful emotion, something many actors lack these days.

Eckhart was good in TDK. Nothing else. Not more than Ledger or Oldman. Period.

Eckhart is the man. The change in his character was made very believable in TDK. If you watch his first scene and then watch his last scene the change in his character is huge, but Eckhart's acting makes it seem very gradual and procedural. I'd support an oscar nod in his favor. I think he did pretty damn good.

An underrated performance by eckhart! Very deserving of a nod but heath's performance changed the game and as much as both of em deserve it we will be lucky if one of em gets it seeing how the academy looks down on "blockbuster" films.
