Two New Terminator Salvation Photos

December 23, 2008

Two new photos from Terminator Salvation are now online. Directed by McG, the May 22 opener stars Christian Bale, Sam Worthington, Anton Yelchin, Bryce Dallas Howard, Moon Bloodgood and Common.

In the film, set in post-apocalyptic 2018, Bale stars as John Connor, the man fated to lead the human resistance against Skynet and its army of Terminators. But the future Connor was raised to believe in is altered in part by the appearance of Marcus Wright (Worthington), a stranger whose last memory is of being on death row. Connor must decide whether Marcus has been sent from the future, or rescued from the past. As Skynet prepares its final onslaught, Connor and Marcus both embark on an odyssey that takes them into the heart of Skynet's operations, where they uncover the terrible secret behind the possible annihilation of mankind.

That is not Terminator Salvation, that is Christian Bale on the third installment of Batman, Alfred is in the background helping him build a new gadget.

T4 is written by the same guys who wrote T3.

The name Bale gives so much hope it blinds people.

These pictures do nothing to get me excited for the film, much like the trailer. I'm going in with low expectations, the only thing remotely worth wild about this next film is Bale and the motorcycle robots. The giant robot at the end looked like a huge rip off of Transformers.

This film has the same complex as the Star Wars prequels where things look more sophisticated in the past than they were in the future...um, right.

yes. pto. your right. the robot at the end looked like a HUGE ripoff of transformers. seeing as how we watched it trasnform from a car, or a tank, or a truck, or a whatever. huge ripoff. man. you hit it right on the head. so, any robot now is a ripoff of transformers? or just huge ones that shoot stuff? good thing those motorcycles that you talked about didnt morph. good thing.

Bale lifted weights for this, nice.

I think it looks good.

never saw T3, but even Arny said it was just for the fans. There was no real reason to push the story forward other than that...

BUT...This I think is a development. As a kid I always wanted to see more of his marcabe future cameron envisioned. And Conner has been a character that i think has fascinated people of the genre since the beginning. Bale was a good choice b/c of this. He has that same mystique at this point in his career.

Im just as excited about this movie as the next person, but I hope to Oden that WB doesnt bombard us with soooo many pics and videos for the movie like the same way that happened with Wanted. Leave something for us to enjoy and discover when we go to the theaters.
