Jennifer Lopez has signed on to star in the fertility-themed romantic comedy Plan B for CBS Films, reports Variety.

Written by Kate Angelo, the story centers on a single woman (Lopez) who turns to artificial insemination to answer her ticking biological clock only to meet the man of her dreams on the same day as her positive pregnancy test results.

The studio is looking to hire a director for the project by the end of January, with shooting scheduled to start in April or May.

This woman is an ego maniac. She's a terrible actress who's made her entire life a product commercial to sell perfume and clothes. If she was a race car, she'd have decals all over her. Acting use to be a craft taken seriously. It use to be an art much like the Brits think of it today. When Hollywood's offering acting parts to the JLOs and Paris Hiltons while giving Oscars to Queen Latifat, you know the art of acting in America has become commercialized trash. That's why JLO and Jennifer Aniston make these romantic comedies----they get to play themselves basically, they get all the contractual perks, and take home an easy paycheck to add the extra wing to their kids' playroom. YUCK!!!

Anybody can make one of these movies

Formula:

Stupid soap opera story ripped from Lifetime network+a Diane Lane type actress+a Richard Gere type actor idealized by a female casting director+"the friend/s" who obsess and make the main characters look more important than they really are+ the pratfalls+ the fight 75% into the film+the make-up usually prompted by a kid of one of the main characters+ the sappy wedding or walk into the sunset type ending+the closing credits using an oldies song like "this will be...an everlasting love."

Man, women are soooo easy to entertain.

Anybody can make one of these.
