Anyway, wasn't it Bond that was looking a lot like Bourne in Quantum of Solace? Stripped of any luxuries for over half the movie and riding on a scooter and public transportation and jumping through living rooms.
(sorry my english is terrible)
I would like to see a fourth movie but I agree that they should write a good script and let it go it's own way without regard to the books it is already too far away to go back now. Also, I don't think anyone else should play the part except Matt Damon. In some ways I would like to see Nikki and Bourne get together maybe reluctantly at first... something like he finds out she is in trouble, she is not the as good in the fielf as he is and it would be in his character to go help especially if he is feeling drawn to learn more about the relationship they had in the past... she might have some information about his past that could help him. On the other hand I think his intensity might diminish if it turns into a love story.
I have also enjoyed the follow up novel by Eric Van Lustbader... there is definitely a style difference but I like them both. I don't have the history with Robert Ludlum that some of you have. The three Bourne novel are the only Ludlum novels I have read.
I am in favor of a fourth with the above conditions I mentioned and especially since they have gotten so far from the original books.
