Catherine Hardwick Talks Twilight Sequel

ShockTillYouDrop.com caught up with Twilight director Catherine Hardwick to talk about the movie's success and the follow-up, New Moon. Here's a clip:

Shock: Is there an element of the second book you're especially intrigued or excited by, as far as bringing it to life on screen?

Hardwicke: New Moon's really taking a whole other leap with this new story and there's really a lot of new characters in it. There's the werewolves which is pretty crazy. All the wolves. Then there's also going to Italy in the second book and there's motorcycle riding and cliff-jumping and diving. I love jumping off of cliffs. So it's kind of up my alley – into water, yeah.

Hmmm...as tempting as it is to go read for this movie...I'm not sure that I'd like to...it was rough. Hardwicke is a different director, she seemed to have some minor issues on the first, maybe the second will be better...even though it goes from vampires to shapeshifting indians...this could get weird people...

ah touche, but The Lost Boys technically didn't have Werewolves. But they did have 2 Cory's.

How does this cost 37 million?! Was that all spent on the amazing special effects [bursts out laughing]

Seriously though, 32 million of it must of been spent on marketing.

Indians is such an old term, try sticking with native americans, indigenous, believe me when I tell you, you can piss off a lot of native people with that term. I'm native so I know.
