George Lucas ventured down to Hollywood from his empire at Skywalker Ranch to present the American Cinematheque's 23rd annual award to one of his favorite Jedis, Samuel L. Jackson, and ComingSoon.net intercepted the man behind some of pop culture's most iconic mythologies. Lucas gave up a handful of plans that were not quite as secret as the plans to the Death Star, including his intentions for a fifth "Indiana Jones" adventure, and 3-D-ifying the classic "Star Wars" films.Latest Headlines:

I didnt really have too much a problem with Indy 4 but if i was to complain about something it's that i think Indy having a wife and kid is stupid, it just slows him down in a series where it's really supposed to be escapism and action. It's like giving a wife and kids to James Bond, it doesnt work. The thing about this movie is that the original trilogy was based on the serials of the 30's while this was based on the B movies of the 50's.
The only money shot left to play for Indiana Jones is the moment Ford blurts out in astonishment " Gee, I've become DAD!"
I would absolutely love to see 3 more, he says that the 6 are the story of anakin Skywalker, but you could treat the original trilogy as a halfway mark where characters overlap (i.e 1-3 are anakins, 4-6 are anakins(vaders) and luke's film, and 7-9 are lukes...)
o and everything after 6 has been mapped out anyway with books, comics and video games, but if anyone has the power to completely write over it, its lucas
Indy 5...eh maybe
star wars 3-D absolutely
He's said he's finished so many times i'v lost count.
But, if Lucas seriously doesn't make the next Indy as good as Last Crusade and take the series down the serious tone/witty feel of Raiders, I will possibly take a 2x4 with a nail to his kneecaps.
Indy IV was great, but was also a HUGE letdown.
Make Indy V less goofy and as kick ass as Last Crusade, Lucas!
Or I, along with Indy fans, might have to kill you.
Let it go Lucas!!
