First Photo of Gambit in Wolverine!

As part of its Wolverine coverage in the magazine's new issue, Empire has debuted this first official photo of Taylor Kitsch ("Friday Night Lights") as Gambit.

Opening May 1st, 2009, the Gavin Hood-directed film stars Hugh Jackman, Liev Schreiber, Ryan Reynolds, Will.i.am, Danny Huston, Dominic Monaghan, Daniel Henney and Lynn Collins. Leading up to the events of X-Men, Wolverine tells the story of Wolverine's epically violent and romantic past, his complex relationship with Victor Creed, and the ominous Weapon X program.

good call shfuig, i've been thinking that for months, too bad they didn't cast him. Taylor Kitsch looks alright, i'm still very skeptical about this movie

Regarding his eyes, my guess is they will go red/black only when he uses his powers, that way he blends in with humans any other time.

Not a fan of the stache, and I agree with others, Holloway would have made a great Gambit. Who knows, with all the X-Men spinoffs Fox is planning to milk this franchise, I bet a standalone Gambit film is in development somewhere and maybe they're saving Holloway to play an older Gambit.
