Wolverine Strikes a Pose

Empire magazine visited the set of 20th Century Fox's Wolverine and with its article comes a new cover photo of Hugh Jackman in character and another photo inside the issue. You can check them both out below and here's a clip from the article:

"There's a scene in the first X-Men movie," said Jackman, "where Wolverine's introduced in a bar, fighting in a cage, and you felt that he did this every night of his life. If this movie is successful, you should feel that this guy can walk straight off the end of this film and into that bar. "

More quotes are available here. Opening May 1st, the Gavin Hood directed action-thriller stars Hugh Jackman, Liev Schreiber, Ryan Reynolds, Taylor Kitsch, Will.i.am, Danny Huston, Dominic Monaghan, Daniel Henney and Lynn Collins.

After X-3, my expectations are very low. Hopefully, this film will leave me pleasantly surprised as I leave the theater.

Now, if they'll just ditch the ridiculous "X-Men Origins" part of the title...

Can't wait for this to come out. I've been a Logan/Wolverine fan, since I first saw the classic X-Men animated series in the 1990's. I also hope Wolverine turns into a trilogy. Hugh Jackman rocks as Logan/Wolverine, his best role to date.
