New TV Spot for The Spirit

Yahoo! Movies has posted a new TV spot for Lionsgate's The Spirit, opening on Christmas Day. Written and directed by Frank Miller, the adaptation of the Will Eisner comic book series stars Gabriel Macht, Samuel L. Jackson, Sarah Paulson, Eva Mendes, Dan Lauria, Paz Vega, Jaime King, Scarlett Johansson, Louis Lombardi and Stana Katic.

Come on guys, it looks pretty cool, and it's not like we don't waste our money when it comes to films anyway, might as well watch one that entertains...if this does!

But yeah, PG-13 kind of came as a surprise to me too. I thought for sure they were setting up R, but, R never does that well on Christmas (remember AVP:R?)
