The new trailer for director Darren Aronfosky's The Wrestler has come online and can be watched using the player below!

Opening December 17, the drama centers on Randy "The Ram" Robinson (Mickey Rourke), who was a headlining professional wrestler in the late '80s. Now, twenty years later, he ekes out a living performing for handfuls of diehard wrestling fans in high school gyms and community centers around New Jersey.

Estranged from his daughter (Evan Rachel Wood) and unable to sustain any real relationships, Randy lives for the thrill of the show and the adoration of his fans. However, a heart attack forces him into retirement. As his sense of identity starts to slip away, he begins to evaluate the state of his life -- trying to reconnect with his daughter, and strikes up a blossoming romance with an aging stripper (Marisa Tomei). Yet all this cannot compare to the allure of the ring and passion for his art, which threatens to pull Randy "The Ram" back into his world of wrestling.

Looks good but does anybody get a Rocky Balboa feeling towards it? I mean obviously this is going to be better and I am excited to see it, but i don't know reminds me a better Rocky.

Just when I think I couldn't want to see it any more... They put this out and make me want to see it more.

I'm so excited for this film. It brings together so many things that i love.

Aronofsky does it again first "Pie" then "Requiem for a dream" then "the Fountain" this guys has skill and I'm happy to see everyone else agrees on something around here and that is we all want to see this movie.

i went to the premiere of this movie and i've got to say it way better then what i expected, and i went in with very high expectations. mickey rourke gives a tour de force performance which might be the greatest perfomance i've ever seen. marisa tomei hits it out of the park also. this is by far arronsky's best movie. i cant wait to see it again.
