New Night at the Museum Sequel Photos

USA Today has debuted new photos from 20 Century Fox's Night at the Museum: Battle of the Smithsonian, opening in theaters and IMAX on May 22nd. The Shawn Levy-directed sequel stars Ben Stiller, Amy Adams, Hank Azaria, Robin Williams, Ricky Gervais, Owen Wilson, Ed Helms, Christopher Guest, Jon Bernthal, Bill Hader, Alain Chabat, Robert Ben Garant and Thomas Lennon.

The article talks a bit about a possible third film:

Levy has high hopes for Museum 2, but he stops short of the word "franchise."

"There are rumblings of another installment," he says. "We would love to take this premise (further). But even to say there's a likely third film is premature.

"We're not going to jinx things."

If I read all the image captions correctly, most of the dialogue is improvised. That is great, I never knew the last film was like that between Stiller's and Gervais' characters.
Gonna have to watch out of this one.

I must've missed something with the first one because Stiller is one of my long time faves but I just did not like the 1st at all. Maybe I should watch this one again?

Jer Im with you, I also love Stiller, but NATM was not good, but my kids really loved it so I guess the movie did its job there with that demographic. I really wished they went with the original script where the movie was supposed to take place all in one night and it was going to be like a Jumangi-esqe type movie, as a bumbling security guard in the museum, he accidently knocks down an accient artifact and releases a curse making all the displays come to life, and tries to reverse the curse before his night shift ends. Now that I think wouldve been alot better.

Ha...I thought the first movie was great. i love history and love the spin these movies put in it.
