Rod (The Contender) Lurie's latest political drama Nothing But the Truth finally has a trailer over on Moviefone.

Lurie's fourth movie stars Kate Beckinsale as Rachel Armstrong, a Washington, DC reporter who breaks a big story about a female CIA operative (Vera Farmiga) whose investigation into the dealings of a foreign country could hurt the government's current administration. Since it's considered treason to reveal this information, Armstrong is called before a special prosecutor (Matt Dillon) who demands that she reveals her source; when she refuses, she finds out exactly what her country will do to protect its secrets in the name of national security.

You can watch the new trailer over on Moviefone.

Definitely looks like a good suspense/drama/thriller type movie. REALLY good cast. Looks like it's based on the Valerie Plame case, which I had though back then would make a good catalyst for a screenplay. Should be good.

The whole "President has been shot." thing seems a little over the top to me. And we've seen it before(Vantage Point). Besides that, this seems like it could pretty good.

Mmm yea Kate Beckinsale is sexual hotness. And was it just me, or did anyone else hear David Schwimmer playing what seemed to be her husband?

The Contender was really good so I'm sure this will be too. It was Noah Whiley, not David Schwimmer.
