I never understood the whole Frank Miller thing. This movie looks like crap. No one's going to see a superhero movie about a hero no one's heard of. I don't know why he thinks he can direct. He can't.

It looked OK, the first trailer looked better!

And for people not wanting to go see a movie with a hero no one heard of, I know a lot of people that had never heard of 300 or Sin City and those movies did well.

I think it's best they promote the women and their ASSets, cause everything else looks just BAD! Never thought I'd see something that makes Punisher:War Zone appealing. I'm sorry, but it's going to bomb.

If you haven't heard of Will Eisner or "The Spirit," I suggest you do some Googling and learn some important cultural American history. Eisner was a big influence on comics, and his "Spirit" strip was extremely culturally significant after WWII.

I think this looks awesome, I don't understand what all the griping is about. Yes, the acting is cheesy, yes the action is over the top. But it's a particular style of movie! If it's not your thing, it's not your thing. (Which only means you have poor taste in movies)

For all of you folks saying this looks cheesy and over done. Well read the comic series, it's exactly like that. Very in your face and cartoony. Based on those comics this looks like a brilliant and loyal adaptation
