New Kick-Ass Set Photos

Newsarama has posted new photos from the set of the Matthew Vaughn-directed Kick-Ass, starring Nicolas Cage, Aaron Johnson, Lyndsy Fonseca, Mark Strong, Christopher Mintz-Plasse and Chloe Moretz.

Written by Mark Millar and drawn by John Romita Jr., the Marvel Comics' Icon imprint book centers on a high school dweeb named Dave Lizewski (Aaron Johnson, pictured below) who decides to become a superhero even though he has no athletic ability or coordination. Things change when he eventually runs into real bad guys with real weapons.

I am pretty sure that in the comics he doesnt have a hole in the costume where his mouth is....still looks interesting though

this looks just like the comic. awesome. can't wait to see hit-girl and those other guys. i wonder if the movie will actually be as violent as the comics. that be sweet.

I like the way his face is already bloody. that kids gonna get some serious beatings. But yeah what's up with revealing his mouth? doesn't look right. I guess it'll make it easier for him to talk.
