New Watchmen Trailer Online!

Warner Bros. Pictures has provided us with the new trailer for director Zack Snyder's Watchmen, opening in conventional theaters and IMAX. Warner Bros. Pictures' big screen adaptation of the graphic novel stars Patrick Wilson, Jackie Earle Haley, Matthew Goode, Billy Crudup, Jeffrey Dean Morgan, Malin Akerman, Carla Gugino, Stephen McHattie and Matt Frewer.

A complex, multi-layered mystery adventure, Watchmen is set in an alternate 1985 America in which costumed superheroes are part of the fabric of everyday society, and the "Doomsday Clock" - which charts the USA's tension with the Soviet Union - is permanently set at five minutes to midnight. When one of his former colleagues is murdered, the washed-up but no less determined masked vigilante Rorschach sets out to uncover a plot to kill and discredit all past and present superheroes. As he reconnects with his former crime-fighting legion - a ragtag group of retired superheroes, only one of whom has true powers - Rorschach glimpses a wide-ranging and disturbing conspiracy with links to their shared past and catastrophic consequences for the future. Their mission is to watch over humanity...but who is watching the watchmen?

You can watch the trailer in various formats here!

What Wolverine legal issue are you guys talking about? Also, I agree this movie should have been split into multiple movies...I hope they don't dismiss major parts like Crime-Buster. If they really miss the GN, I think I will movie hop to StarTrek....that opens around the same time too doesn't it?

How can anyone claim that this trailer is anything but thrilling? Please.

People like moviegoer, Andrew, Erik, etc. need to be pitied (or punched in the face... or both!).

I've been a fan of Moore's and Gibbon's masterwork since it was initially published as a 12-issue maxi-series, so save me any rebuttals claiming that you criticism of the work derives from some deeper love or understanding of the source material - because that's simply not the case.

The changes that have been made to the graphic novel are not lethal. And who knows, perhaps some of the things that people are criticizing may be altered-corrected (like Dr. Manhattan's voice) before the movie is officially released.

So far, from what we've seen, any objective, reasonable-minded individual would have to admit that the Watchmen movie appears fated to be better than even the most optimistic soul could ever have hoped for.

Kudos to Zack Snyder. And a major psychic ***** slap to all the pessimistic *******s out there who take some sort of sick sadistic pleasure in attempting to find fault with anything and everything. Let it go. Appreciate this adaptation for all it's worth, because it looks freakin' awesome.
