Come on NOW December!
That was sarcastic...
What version of TDK did you guys watch, cause the version I saw was littered with all sorts of stupid ****....
Such as:
-Rachel & Batman(?) getting up and walking away like nothing after falling from a penthouse apartment--- without the aid of a "grappling hook", or "glider" mind you.... ("Oh but Nolan's take is SO REALISTIC!!!")
-A Joker who never actually "Jokes".... (Although even when at his most maniacal, he's always kept a sense of humor in other interpretations.) Oh, but he's just called the "Joker" for the hell of it, right?
-I remember a "truck jackknifing", and "talking"..... LOTS of talking. What happened to the rest of the "action", I don't know.
-Anyone else remember those lame ass cornball lines from the first Spider-Man:
"You mess with Spidey, you mess with New York!", and "You mess with one of us, you mess with all of us."
.... Yeah, TDK is FULL to the rim with them. "He's a symbol that we don't have to be afraid of scum like you.*wink*".... "He's out there doing his job!*wink*".... and let's not forget the entire "Dinner scene" with Wayne, Harvey, Rachel, and the Russian chic. Which also reminds me of my favorite line in the entire movie, "This city just showed you that it's full of people ready to believe in good." which Bale delivered in the most horrid way imaginable.... (Like with just about every other line of his.) ..... Since when the hell would Batman have ever said something that ridiculously preachy, post Adam West???
Oh, but don't mind me.... Keep on believing "the hype".... When was the last time any of you actually formed an opinion on your own?
