AFM '08: Street Fighter: The Legend of Chun Li Photo!

ComingSoon.net snapped this new photo of Kristin Kreuk as Chun-Li in 20th Century Fox's Street Fighter: The Legend of Chun Li at the American Film Market today.

The live-action feature film based on Capcom's video game co-stars Michael Clarke Duncan, Neal McDonough, Taboo, Chris Klein, Moon Bloodgood, Edmund Chen, Cheng Pei Pei, Josie Ho and Robin Shou. It will be released in theaters on February 27.

Yeah this movie might have meant something back in oh let's see 1992 and yet here we are 2008. If this is anything like the last live action Street Fighter movie then it's going to suck big time. Hopefully no Jean Claude Van Dam
cameos as Guile.

wow.....yeah....that looks horrible....she looks nothing like the games character. Honestley though i don't know why i was surprised at that!

I agree with James, I know they are trying to go for a modern look, but if there wasn't font telling you the name of the movie, no one would even know who she was. Does anyone know if they are releasing the movie around the same time as the game (sorry, don't know if the games already been released)? I think that would be best for sales.

Sigh...what sucks is, if this movie bombs, there's no hope for there ever being a good live version of Street Fighter...which I DO believe is possible, just tricky in terms of juggling character stories, I guess.
