I like the books too. The leads were cast near-perfect. And, I have hope the script and peformances help shore up some of the weaknesses in the books. But, I worry Hardwicke may have been the wrong choice to direct and the effects are going to disappoint, particularly the wire work/stunts.

What I don't understand is why they put so much emphasis on the bad vampires, they only take up a small part of the book...

i think the movie looks better now than the impression i got from the first trailer. the action and the suspense look better. I did read the books AFTER the cast was announced, so it looks the way i pictured it.

PS: I am a heterosexual guy, and i like the books. the few, the proud, the twilight guys. hoo-rah

After 7 years of Buffy and her romance with Angel....i really see something like this as touching on areas that Joss Whedon nailed out of the park during the two series' run.

In regards to your comment dave, I looked at 00:13 and she is in her underwear. What's so funny? She looks great in her underwear!

Um...why is the date 19.12.08 at the end of the international trailer? That doesn't even make sense. I thought it comes out Nov. 21.
