Soderbergh Casts Porn Star as Girlfriend

Oscar-winner Steven Soderbergh has cast porn star Sasha Grey as the lead in his upcoming feature, The Girlfriend Experience.

The low-budget drama, currently shooting in New York, chronicles the life of a high-price call girl and is part of Soderbergh's six-film deal with multimedia entrepreneur Mark Cuban.

The movie was written by Ocean's 13 screenwriters Brian Koppelman and David Levien and will be released by Magnolia Pictures.

Not only is she hot, but if you read up on her she's pretty a lot more than just a big as_ and a pretty face...O_O

Kyle is 100% correct, Sash Grey is not only hot, but much nastier than your average porn star. First of all, I don't see how any guy can support Soderbergh stealing such a depraved hussy from the porn business where she is so desperately needed. Second, no way in hell that she got the gig without banging him. Except that where Sash Grey is concerned, it was probably not so much a casting couch as it was a casting cage with a casting midget, a casting whip, a casting sex-robot and a huge tub of casting Crisco.
Come to think of it that, that would probably be a much better movie than this "Girlfriend Experience" crap is likely to be.

I'd have like to have been the initial post here just to say "I came first" :p - That opportunity missed, it's obvious that Steven Soderbergh has a thing for this slutty-cutie porn star because otherwise he'd have gotten a REAL ACTRESS! Who can blame him for wanting to get a chance at making his fantasies come true, no way the studio is gonna pay for that so no wonder its coming out of his own pocket! ..even that sounded wrong! :p
