Japanese Street Fighter Poster, Site

The official Japanese website and poster for 20th Century Fox's Street Fighter: The Legend of Chun Li have come online. Opening February 27, the Andrzej Bartkowiak-directed video game adaptation stars Kristin Kreuk, Michael Clarke Duncan, Neal McDonough, Taboo, Chris Klein, Moon Bloodgood, Edmund Chen, Cheng Pei Pei, Josie Ho and Robin Shou.

at least she kinda looks like Chun Li....well, aside from the being chinese part. Oh well, it has got to be a better casting than Van Damme was for Guile...ugh

For all the crap Dragonball has thrown its way...there has been zero news on this feature, even though it comes out almost two months BEFORE Dragonball. Could the poster's proximity mean Fox might instead be attaching a Street Fighter teaser with Max Payne?

Seriously, what the hell's going on with this movie?

Huh. Never even knew they were doing a Streetfighter 2 movie. This is the first I've heard of it. I'll watch it, but it's been years since I've watched the first one or been anywhere near anything Street Fighter.

Attractive Kristin Kreuk as Chun Li...hmm I may need more details before offering an opinion...perhaps even a trailer or two. Cheng Pei Pei, a wuxia legend, is in the movie...what capacity I don't know, but that's still a good thing. Oh yeah Michale Clark Duncan is a nice bonus. Trailer please, so I can judge this flick.

Look she does look like Chun Li, and i like the casting and what not. But i have to admit that regradless of the fact that she is a major character, i can't for the life of me understand why the movie is about her. i mean her story compared to M. Bison, Guile, Ken & Ryu would be better fodder for a movie
