I'm not a huge Jude Law fan, prefer Bettany who I confuse him with, but he should make a good Holmes

Jude Law is playing Watson not Holmes, should still be an interesting piece, I am excited to see how this turns out.

So the bummish outfit from earlier WAS a disguise. This gives us a better look at Downey as well.

Isn'nt Holmes supposed to be taller than Watson, at least from what W. says in his journal?

i agree, we need a fatter Watson and a taller Holmes...but if the chemistry works then who knows, could be good...i just think its really weird putting out 2 SH movies around the same time. Thats like War of Magicians between The Illusionist and The Prestige which both came out around the same time, granted one SH is a comedy but still...strange

I don't think there's a real need for Watson to be heavy. In the first book, he's just come back from serving as a medic in the Afghan Wars, so it's not like he's been sitting around eating cake for a few years.

Yeah but Watson was injured and has been off his feet for a while before he actually meets Holmes. But doesn't matter... if the chemistry is good then the movie will work.
