Exclusive: The Final Defiance One-Sheet!

ComingSoon.net has your exclusive first look at the final one-sheet for Defiance, opening in theaters on December 12. Directed by Edward Zwick (Blood Diamond, Glory), the war thriller stars Daniel Craig, Liev Schreiber, Jamie Bell, Alexa Davalos, Allan Corduner and Mark Feuerstein.

Based on an extraordinary true story, Defiance is an epic tale of family, honor, vengeance and salvation in World War II. The year is 1941 and the Jews of Eastern Europe are being massacred by the thousands. Managing to escape certain death, three brothers take refuge in the dense surrounding woods they have known since childhood. There they begin their desperate battle against the Nazis. Craig, Schreiber and Bell star as brothers who turn a primitive struggle to survive into something far more consequential – a way to avenge the deaths of their loved ones by saving thousands of others.

At first it is all they can do to stay alive. But gradually, as whispers of their daring spreads, they begin to attract others – men and women, young and old – willing to risk everything for the sake of even a moment's freedom. Tuvia (Craig) is a reluctant leader and his decisions are challenged by his brother, Zus (Schreiber) who worries that Tuvia's idealistic plans will doom them all. Asael (Bell) is the youngest – caught between his brothers' fierce rivalry. As a brutal winter descends, they work to create a community, and to keep faith alive when all humanity appeared to be lost.

I know he's already Bond, but DAMN . . . I think Daniel Craig would make an awesome Captain America in Marvels's new movie!

The film seems to have strong Robin Hood themes, except its set during the war, and instead of robbing the rich to give to the poor they have exchanged that storyline for revenge. I don’t know the details but I think it will be a sure fire bet that there will be a German General with a band of soldiers who be sent into the woods and on many occasions are slaughtered until they find a way of luring them out. Still sounds quite good though?

Can you guys really see Daniel Craig wearing the suit Captain America wears? lmao!! He'd probs go "P*ss off!" lmao!! I haven't got a Clue what Captain America is about cause i'm in the UK lol but I can't see him being that haha. He could make a good Villain in something though. Maybe NuclearMan in the Superman franchise :D lmao that'll be hilarious haha

Yeah, it looks like some space movie. If you told me it was a World War II movie, I'd say you were nuts.

BTW, I read somwhere where Craig said he was a huge Star Trek fan. Could you imagine him as Kirk? That would have been awesome.
