Screen Gems Digs Darth Vader

Sony's Screen Gems has made a three-picture deal with Hayden Christensen (Jumper, "Star Wars" prequels), reports Variety.

The deal adds two more films to the actor's Screen Gems slate, following Bone Deep, the John Luessenhop-directed crime drama that began shooting in September.

The deal calls for Christensen to bring the studio projects that he finds with Tove Christensen, his brother and partner in Forest Park Pictures. Screen Gems will also invite the company into projects that the studio generates.

Bad idea do we not remember Jumper or AWAKE and didn't his last movie go straight to DVD? bad idea Screen Gems.

Um, before you say "Bad idea, Screen Gems", examine those words. "Bad idea SCREEN GEMS." These guys would love a "Jumper" sized success, and for them Hayden Christensen is a major coup. Hell, for them Charles Nelson Reilly would be a major coup, and I dodn't even know if he's still alive.

He isn't terrible. He has sucked in a lot but Shattered Glass was very good and in the last Star Wars he wasn't awful. I say give him one more chance!

he's a bad actor. I would rather have had someone else play the role of anni skywalker. but at least he wasn't as bad as like brandon routh as superman. that woulda killed star wars all together with.
