Lionsgate has provided ComingSoon.net with an exclusive first look at the new TV spot for W., opening in theaters on October 17.

In an unprecedented undertaking, acclaimed director Oliver Stone is bringing the life of our 43rd President to the big screen as only he can. W. takes viewers through Bush's eventful life -- his struggles and triumphs, how he found both his wife and his faith, and of course the critical days leading up to Bush's decision to invade Iraq.

The film stars Josh Brolin as George W. Bush, Elizabeth Banks as Laura Bush, James Cromwell as George Herbert Walker Bush, Ellen Burstyn as Barbara Bush, Thandie Newton as Condoleezza Rice, Jeffrey Wright as Colin Powell, Scott Glenn as Donald Rumsfeld, and Ioan Gruffud as Tony Blair.

Is this going to be a comedy or drama? I hope is the first 'cause their isn't really something relevant about Bush, just the fact that he is sending the country to an economy crisis and that this so called "war on terror" is just a big political maneuver to make more money for a few.
In my opinion, this movie is a "custom made job" for John McCain.

pg-13? wow, i didn't expect that... then again, i wasn't expecting stone's "world trade center" to get a pg-13 either, but it did.

Hey Hiro-ish!. The president has not control over the econonmy. If it is going strong he gets the credit, but if it is tanking he gets the blame. It's part of being president
