Two items related to Frank Miller today. First up, UGO has debuted two new posters for The Spirit which feature Gabriel Macht and Samuel L. Jackson. You can check out the posters by clicking the image below!

Staying with The Spirit for a moment, BadTaste.it tells us that Miller was in Rome to present Liongate's Christmas Day release. He showed a new trailer and four scenes from the film. You can read descriptions of the footage shown here!

In the Q&A session with Miller, he also touched on Sin City 2:

I can't talk about my projects, because I don't believe a movie is real until I see the title on the screen. There are many things that can go wrong. But I can tell you that I'm very close to begin 'Sin City 2' with Robert Rodriguez. We have to arrange a few things and we'll be back in action.

Definitely looking forward to both of these projects, especially Sin City 2. The first is such an awesome movie, so bold and exciting, and I'm sure the sequel will not disappoint, especially if Johnny Depp is indeed a part of it. That would be wicked!

Manny: I wouldn't call this "Sin City ish." It's just that Frank Miller has a very distinct style and happened to use it on both series. That's all.

I am excited to see this, and I can't wait for Sin City 2 to get rolling. I was a huge fan of the first movie, and I can't wait for the second. I wonder what stars they'll get for the sequel...

I think the Spirit film is going to be garbage. Eisner's Spirit had much more color to it than what Miller did with the film. He in sense ripped off his self and took away much of the glory that Rodriguez had in accomplishing this style on screen. This'll put a damper on the coolness of Sin City 2 now that this style doesn't solely belong to that story. Way to step on your own toes at the expense of a great director Miller.

The Spirit looks like it'll be an incredible movie, definitely a must see. As for Sin City 2 I'm glad they're not rushing it out so quick, sometimes when the movie is rushed it doesn't turn out as good as it should. in the long run it's gonna be just as amazing as the first one.

Im with The Moviegoer here...the trailer doesnt excite me all, the whole movie is greenscreen, and that gets very tiring. I cant remember where I read it but someone who saw an early screening of the movie wasnt impressed with it all.
