Enter the World of Doctor Parnassus

Quick Stop Entertainment has posted a new teaser for Terry Gilliam's The Imaginarium of Doctor Parnassus, coming to theaters in 2009. The fantasy-drama stars the late Heath Ledger (The Dark Knight), Christopher Plummer, Tom Waits, Lily Cole, Andrew Garfield, Verne Troyer, Johnny Depp, Colin Farrell and Jude Law.

I wonder whether this will work. The main character was supposed to be played by Ledger only. Now a couple of actors came to take over his roles in the missing scenes.

And I seriously hope Gilliam is back to his old days when it comes to making a GOOD film.

It will be nice to see one more movie with the late, great Heath Ledger. Time Bandits and Baron Munchaussen are extremely entertaining and fun to watch. I'm excited to see this one as well.

Adult you do know the movie is set in different dimensions with the same character don't you? So what they did was they took Heath Ledger's character and just made his appearance change everytime they change the dimension. So ultimately, this movie WILL work.

I don't think they have actually filmed the scenes with Depp, Farrell and Law yet. We are all very fortunate that film is being completed as it looked like it was going to be closed down after Heath's death.

They have done the filming with the other actors; indeed, it was done (in great secrecy) near where I work in Vancouver, and production resumed in the spring (production was supposed to move to Vancouver the week after Ledger died). No, I never saw any of these people hanging around! However, Law and Depp were seen smoking in front of a building, and Farrell was photographed at the airport.

Alexander, just because Parnassus only changes appearance when entering another dimension doesn't mean that it will work.This movie looks like a pile of crap just like all of Gilliam's other recent films. This movie will be a bigger bomb than the Love Guru, if it ever gets finished � hopefully it won't.
