Fivesome Joins All's Faire in Love

The Hollywood Reporter says that Christina Ricci, Owen Benjamin, Nadine Velazquez, Bill Engvall and Cedric the Entertainer are heading to the Renaissance Faire in the romantic comedy All's Faire in Love (AKA "Ye Olde Times").

Benjamin (The House Bunny) will play an eager drama school grad whose new Renaissance Faire theater troupe makes him their fetch boy. His hopes and libido rise when he spots a Faire virgin (Ricci), but swashbuckling colleagues threaten to thwart their budding romance.

Ann-Margret, Matthew Lillard and Louise Griffiths also star in the That's Hollywood/Patriot Pictures production. Velazquez (NBC's "My Name Is Earl") and Engvall (Blue Collar Comedy Tour) will be cast by the time cameras roll this month in Michigan.

Scott Marshall (Keeping Up With the Steins) directs from Robert A. White's screenplay.

Great cast and equally great staff from the Director (Scott to the Executive Producer Mike). Of course, I am biased when I say this since I have the priveledge of being part of the production. Look forward to an interesting twist where the Owens is also a Quarterback who is fighting a mental battle between his on field dreams and his on stage acting passion. As, he is also the college's Quarterback with a bright NFL future.

Several of the football team's faces will be some "local" celebrities as they will be played by Flint's very own Minor League Football team the Genesee County Patriots. The Coaching roles will be handled by father and son tandem Leo and Brad Lyon!

Also, don't forget Cedric the Entertainer is taking on the role of the professor, once filled by Jack Black!

WooHoo! I'm in it! I work a booth at the Mi ren Faire that is being filmed for the movie, and got to be in a bunch of the background shots! Ann Margret was hot!

Can't wait for this. I am a huge Ricci fan. Did you see alot of Christina Brad while you were filming? How does she look? Any idea what the rating might be for this?

We just got home from the renaissance festival. It was a blast. We seen the movie being recorded, and we were able to walk with them during the "parade shoot" of the film. The stars we exquisit. It looks like my family and I might be extras!!
