Columbia Pictures has revealed the new trailer for director Tom Tykwer's The International, starring Clive Owen and Naomi Watts.

In the gripping thriller, opening February 13, Interpol Agent Louis Salinger (Owen) and Manhattan Assistant District Attorney Eleanor Whitman (Watts) are determined to bring to justice one of the world's most powerful banks. Uncovering myriad and reprehensible illegal activities, Salinger and Whitman follow the money from Berlin to Milan to New York to Istanbul. Finding themselves in a high-stakes chase across the globe, their relentless tenacity puts their own lives at risk as their targets will stop at nothing – even murder – to continue financing terror and war.

You can watch the trailer in QuickTime here and in Flash format at the new official website!

Can't wait to see it. I've heard that a few scenes were shot in 65MM. If that's the case, I hope the director can strike a few 70MM DTS prints in selected theaters.

Curiosity forces me to watch movie trailers, but whenever I do I can't help wishing that the trailers didn't reveal so much. I sort of feel like I have seen this movie now.

Wait! Are you telling me that this is a movie about one man who takes justice and the law into his own hands to do what is right against forces that are insurmountably stacked against him with ambiguous dire consequences hanging in the balance? And there's a blonde girl? Finally, something fresh and new!

that looks kinda good if i do say so myself.
I agree trailers give way too much away, or maybe its just my attention to detail but i find 9/10 times a trail gives away something important that i would not have figured out if i had never seen it, and i don't like how they edit them, like in the burn after reading trailer when brad pitt is dancing and tilda swanson says stop the foolishness and he stops, you can totally tell that it is francis mcdormet who is sitting in the chair if you look for it, thus no scene like that, so they added in a joke that i think is funny that i won't even get to see

It's like John Grisham meets Tom Clancy. It sounds like the most 90's-ass idea since the 90's.

TOM TYKWER

There's nothing else that needs to be said. He's a brilliant director. Run Lola Run, baby!
