Judd Joining Johnson in Tooth Fairy

Ashley Judd is set to star with Dwayne Johnson in 20th Century Fox comedy Tooth Fairy, which starts shooting in Vancouver this October. Michael Lembeck is directing.

Johnson plays a minor league hockey player nicknamed the Tooth Fairy. Judd plays his girlfriend, a single mother of two kids.

The film was written by Lowell Ganz and Babaloo Mandel and Joshua Sternin & Jeffrey Ventimilia.

I'm with Adam in that I loved the Rock in action movies like Rundown and The Scorpion King. The unfortunate fact is that his family movies like Game Plan have done better by far at the box office. So while a lot of people want the Rock in action movies, it seems a lot more want to see him in family roles, so that's what we're going to be seeing him in for awhile.
