Mark Millar's Proposed Superman Trilogy

Mark Millar (Wanted) talked to G4 about his proposed Superman movie project which has a mysterious American director attached. They pitched the idea to Warner Bros. Pictures and hope to get word over the next few weeks. If the studio decides to go with their version, they'd like to be shooting by next summer:

"I've had this plan for like 10 years for a big three-picture Superman thing, like a Lord of the Rings epic, starting over from scratch again with a seven-hour Superman story. One to be released each year." Millar said.

His Superman's graphic novel "The Red Son" was kick ass though (pun intended)

Thats a cool idea, I wish they wouldn't reboot but I am on board if Millar does it!

WB just should make a decision on the fate of this franchise. Just make it already! This indecision crap is ridiculous. Give Singer a pass and let him make the sequel. He knows where he went wrong. The talk is that Valkyrie is gonna get huge Oscar buzz. Singer is back on his game.

Was he drinking a Heinaken beer during the interview?
Plus the red head chick in the background is kinda cute.
I really want to hear more about his idea on the Superman trilogy

They shouldn't reboot it, otherwises that's like pissing all over Richard Donner's classic. Then again, on the other hand, look at the wonders Batman Begins did, though wouldn't call Tim Burton's flick a classic.
