Sounds like one of the names Mike Myers usually comes up with for his Austin-Powers-movies.
The character is also an actress. It could easily be a stage name.
Some people just go out of their way to find things to hate about something they don't want to like. Play it safe and bash the confusing casting choices next time.
The German blonde looks nice, but iirc, she's a bit too much on the skinny side.
Btw: Bridget is a german name, its usually just spelled "Brigitte". And "von Hammersmark" is pure Tarantino, guess he is making von of "Florian von Donnersmark", last years foreign oscar winner.
Maybe one of Bridget's parents is American or British? Or it's really just a stage name, like Steve wrote.
