Exclusive Righteous Kill Clip

ComingSoon.net has your exclusive first look at a new clip from Righteous Kill, the Jon Avnet-directed crime thriller opening in theaters on September 12.

In the film, a pair of veteran New York City police detectives are on the trail of a vigilante serial killer. After 30 years as partners in the pressure cooker environment of the NYPD, highly decorated Detectives David Fisk (Al Pacino) and Thomas Cowan (Robert De Niro) should be ready for retirement, but aren't. Before they can hang up their badges, they are called in to investigate the murder of a notorious pimp, which appears to have ties to a case they solved years before. Like the original murder, the victim is a suspected criminal whose body is found accompanied by a four line poem justifying the killing. When additional crimes take place, it becomes clear the detectives are looking for a serial killer, one who targets criminals that have fallen through the cracks of the judicial system. His mission is to do what the cops can't do on their own--take the culprits off the streets for good. The similarities between the recent killings and their earlier case raise a nagging question: Did they put the wrong man behind bars? 50 Cent, Donnie Wahlberg and Carla Gugino co-star.

Looks like a twelve year old wrote it. Probably Pacino's nephew or something and maybe he has cancer, so DeNiro felt sorry for him.
That's how it got made.

everything about this movie looks bad except for perhaps de niro's acting. but his acting wont save the writing.

pacino has been riding on the godfather's coat tails his whole career.

So according to you Dog Day Afternoon, Serpico, Heat, Scent of a Woman, In America and The Merchant of Venice (to name a few) was Pacino riding the coat tails of The Godfather? Give me a break.

If anyone is at fault for riding early success it's DeNiro. His performances have been questionable since the mid-1990's, save a select few.

Just that fact that 50 cent is in this makes this movie garbage, but I will still watch it just because Deniro and Pacino will be sharing the same screen time.

You know what would be hilarious...if in the movie Al Pacino is caught drinking a booty sweat juice.

knew that comment would attract attention.

the guy does the same thing every scene. bobs his head, looks to the side and talks. maybe raises his voice here and there and acts sarcastic. was hoping this movie would be good during production, looks like another 'two for the money' wih cops

I came back here just to clarify that I wasn't attacking your statement, frank napier, I just found it shocking that such a statement was made! To each his own.

I think the script was written like that purposely. These guys are suppose be uneducated cops from what is it, new york? And both Pacino and De Niro never fail to perform.
