20th Century Fox has provided us with new photos from both Max Payne, opening October 17, and The Day the Earth Stood Still, in theaters on December 12.

In Max Payne, Maverick cop Max Payne (Wahlberg) is hell-bent on revenge against those responsible for the brutal murder of his family and partner. His obsessive investigation takes him on a nightmarish journey into a dark underworld. As the mystery deepens, Max is forced to battle enemies beyond the natural world and face an unthinkable betrayal.

In The Day the Earth Stood Still Keanu Reeves portrays Klaatu, an alien whose arrival on our planet triggers a global upheaval. As governments and scientists race to unravel the mystery behind the visitor's appearance, a woman (Jennifer Connelly) and her young stepson get caught up in his mission – and come to understand the ramifications of his being a self-described "friend to the Earth."

Both movies look fine so far.

HAHAHA!!! Keanu Reeves finally got a part where his natural talent of puting the most vacant and unexpressive expression will come forth! Certainly, we can expect a subtle, if nonexistant, portrayal of Klaatu from him.

It's more like : The day the face of Keanu Reeves stood still.
Can't wait to see Max Payne, Mark Wahlberg is the best actor to play this role
