SDCC: Raimi, Lohman on Drag Me to Hell

ShockTillYouDrop.com talked to Drag Me to Hell producer/director/co-writer Sam Raimi ("Spider-Man" films) and star Alison Lohman at the San Diego Comic-Con. The May 29, 2009 Universal Pictures release features Raimi's return to the horror genre with an original tale of a young woman's desperate quest to break an evil curse.

I liked Sm3 and to those people who say it was not Raimi's fault, it's not. It was our fault. We pushed the studio into doing Venom and Gwen Stacy and the black suit. The crew is not responsible, we are, the fans. We just need to let movies happen the way the studio wants them to happen. I will be seeing this movie!

The spiderman movies were all terrible if you ask me. Raimi just needs to quit farting around and make Evil Dead 4 before Bruce gets too old.

Damn straight we need an Evil Dead 4! And none of this specials effects stuff. It needs to be like Army of Darkness. I remeber watching the first Evil Dead, scared the **** outta me. I watched the second, and was a little bit more prepared. Like the blend of comedy. THe third was my favorite. As for this film, doesn't sound like a horror movie, But i'm probably still going to see it.
