New Terminator Salvation Photo

Warner Bros. Pictures has provided ComingSoon.net with this new Terminator Salvation photo that first debuted internationally and features Christian Bale as John Connor facing Sam Worthington as Marcus Wright. Directed by McG, the sci-fi action-thriller opens in theaters on May 22, 2009. Anton Yelchin, Bryce Dallas Howard, Moon Bloodgood, Common, Jadagrace and Helena Bonham Carter co-star.

In the film, set in post-apocalyptic 2018, John Connor is fated to lead the human resistance against Skynet and its army of Terminators. But the future Connor was raised to believe in is altered in part by the appearance of Marcus Wright, a stranger whose last memory is of being on death row. Connor must decide whether Marcus has been sent from the future, or rescued from the past. As Skynet prepares its final onslaught, Connor and Marcus both embark on an odyssey that takes them into the heart of Skynet's operations, where they uncover the terrible secret behind the possible annihilation of mankind.

Well, we've seen one teaser trailer (with minimal footage, mind ya), and this photo...

Yeah...I'd definitely agree with you. So much proof that this movie is going to rock your socks off. Traditionally speaking, initial movie teasers are a greeeaaat way of judging how good a film is going to be.

Bale has done a lot of great great work....and then some things that I wonder why...

Cases in point: Laurel Canyon, the Shaft remake. Two mediocre films for someone of his talent.

Everything else has been pretty decent or awesome.

T4...we'll see. I had high hopes with T3 to solve some of the logical problems I was having with the whole time concept, and it really didn't, only kinda made less sense, so we'll see how T4 goes.
